There are several ways to get into sailing, and one way is to join other boats as crew. There are a lot of different options; paid crew, unpaid crew, pay for your part of the food, pay for your part of the journey, pay for your trip.

Even if you do not have sailing experience, you can still join as crew. You will learn how to sail fast, but you can also contribute in other ways: cooking, babysitting, repairs, good company, filming, etc.

There are a lot of opportunities out there, but make sure to check the people you are going with, and always have at lease one video call with the people you want to go with. There are some weirdoes out there, and its not always so easy to get away when you are in the middle of the ocean.

I have been using Facebook a lot, it is very easy and current. There are more Facebook pages around, especially for sailing in specific areas. Just search for Sailing *your location* or Cruising *your location* and something will probably show up.
